Walton’s Garden Center

Ava made my first gardening experience an absolute pleasure! I came in knowing very little, and she took the time to answer all of my questions with patience, professionalism, and incredible knowledge. She listened to my vision, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made me feel confident in every purchase. Her customer service was exceptional, and it's clear she's passionate about what she does. Walton's is lucky to have her—I highly recommend asking for Ava if you visit! Honorable mention Quentin who loaded my car with no complaints!

Beautiful, extensive variety of plants & my favorite gift shop in Dallas! Staff are knowledgeable & professional - committed to excellent work. Waltons did all the landscaping for our house 22 years ago and we are currently updating & looking forward to installation. I have never had good luck with anyone besides Waltons for our landscaping needs.

During the fall/spring/summer planting season we find ourselves at Walton’s every other weekend it seems like :). They have everything our yard needs and, a great variety of plants and veggies. Chuck has even helped with some excellent suggestions for our front flower bed. The staff is accommodating and always so kind. Happy 40th Walton’s!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Walton’s Garden Center! Even though they didn’t have the specific items I originally came in for, the customer service more than made up for it. The young lady at the front office was incredibly helpful, she took the time to check their system and let me know they wouldn’t be receiving the products anytime soon, which I really appreciated. While I didn’t find what I was initially looking for, I still ended up leaving with a bunch of great items thanks to their fantastic selection. A gentleman in the garden area (wearing a sky-blue shirt and a baseball cap) was especially kind, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They also have plenty of parking, a great variety of gifts, water fountains, and beautiful pots in all sizes. Overall, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the store itself has a lot to offer. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Walton’s Garden Center!

In late October I purchased a rare plant, specifically a Pink Princess Philodendron. About 2 days after I brought it home, it started declining. The leaves were droopy and the pink leaf start browning significantly. I brought the plant back up to Walton's and was told the plant was in "shock" and that it should perk back up and adjust to it's surroundings in a few days. I asked for a partial refund and was denied because apparently they cannot guarantee their plants. My plant did not come around after a few days. It got worse. The leaves fell off, so I decided to take a look at the roots. They were rotted and fell apart. In my 2 years of collecting plants I have never dealt with root rot, so I do not believe this was my doing. When I brought the plant home, the soil was soaked, so I made sure to change it out with fresh, dry, chunky soil. In the end, I had to cut off the rotted roots and try and propagate in water. So far, no luck. Ultimately, I did not pay $300 for a rehab plant and I'm extremely disappointed. Walton's should be able to stand by the quality of their plants especially if they are rare and expensive plants. Customers should expect healthy and acclimated plants for
